To ensure transparency, accountability, and proper governance of charitable funds, all fundraising connected to a child’s campaign must be conducted solely under the auspices of Just4Children and through approved fundraising channels authorised by the charity.
Operating multiple fundraising campaigns across different platforms may create confusion amongst donors and the wider public regarding the purpose of the fundraising, the total sums raised, and how monies are being administered. It may also undermine the charity’s ability to maintain accurate financial oversight, comply with regulatory obligations, and ensure that all funds are applied appropriately and fairly in accordance with the charity’s objectives, policies, and legal responsibilities.
For these reasons, we kindly request that any additional fundraising pages or independent fundraising initiatives be discontinued immediately. This includes, but is not limited to, Crowdfunding pages, Facebook fundraisers, PayPal fundraisers, GoFundMe pages, raffle proceeds, or any third-party fundraising activities established by family members, friends, or supporters outside the charity’s authorisation.
All donations and monies raised in connection with the campaign should be remitted directly to Just4Children so that full and transparent records can be maintained. This approach helps protect donors, beneficiaries, and the charity alike, while ensuring that funds are distributed in a controlled, accountable, and equitable manner consistent with charitable governance requirements.
Maintaining a single authorised fundraising campaign also protects public confidence in the integrity of the appeal and avoids any potential misunderstanding regarding the collection, handling, or application of charitable donations.
Please note that compliance with these requirements forms part of the conditions of the campaign. Where these conditions are not met, the charity reserves the right to suspend or terminate the fundraising campaign. The establishment or continuation of any unauthorised secondary fundraising campaign outside the charity’s auspices will result in the immediate closure of the Just4Children campaign.
