Stephanie Millward was on the verge of the British able-bodied swimming squad before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) when she was only 17.

 

She returned to competitive swimming 10 years later in the GB Paralympic squad at the Beijing Olympics, before going on to win four Olympic silvers and one bronze at the London 2012 Games. She is also a multiple IPC World & European champion.
