Stephanie Millward is a British swimmer who has had a remarkable career, particularly in Paralympic swimming. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 17, but her determination and talent led her to excel in competitive swimming despite the challenges she faced.

  • Paralympic Success: Stephanie has won multiple medals across several Paralympic Games. Notably, she competed in the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Paralympics, securing a mix of gold, silver, and bronze medals.
    • At the 2016 Rio Paralympics, she won her first Paralympic gold medals in the 4x100m medley relay (34 points) and the 4x100m freestyle relay.
  • World and European Championships: Stephanie has also been a strong performer in World and European para-swimming championships, amassing numerous medals.
  • Order of the British Empire (MBE): In recognition of her contributions to swimming and her inspiring journey, she was awarded the MBE in 2017.
