Rehab Walk is a physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation centre that specialises in working with children and young adults with cerebral palsy both pre and post selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR).
Chris Barton and the physiotherapy team at Rehab Walk are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), The Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), Association of Pediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP), and Association of Physiotherapists with a special Interest in neurology (ACPIN) and is DRB checked.
Our physiotherapists are specialists in treating children, teenagers and adults with neurological conditions, pre and post selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR), cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions.
Rehab Walk’s Clinical Director Chris Barton has been out to St Louis Children’s Hospital to work with Dr T S Park and the Physiotherapist team, carrying out both Pre, 4, 6 and 12 months post operation assessments and physiotherapy sessions. Chris will be returning this summer and would love to hear from any parents that are planning to travel out to St Louis Children Hospital. Chris Barton will bring the same ethos and approach to Rehab Walk, where they will treat each child as an individual with their own aims, objectives and goals to which they would like to achieve.
