Just4Children are raising funds for vital therapies for Ted who has cerebral palsy, to help him grow, progress and reach his fullest potential.
Ted is our gorgeous, smiley two-year-old, who from the moment he arrived has shown nothing but strength, resilience, and a cheeky spirt. Ted was born after a traumatic delivery which left him with HIE (a lack of oxygen at birth), and as a result he now has cerebral palsy. His start in life was challenging, but Ted has faced every single one with determination and a smile that lights up the room.
Cerebral palsy affects Ted’s movement, muscle control, and coordination. For him, everyday tasks many children master naturally; sitting, crawling, standing and even using his hands require intensive support, repetition, and specialist input. Ted continues to surprise us with his progress and patience with his hectic therapy schedule, working incredibly hard during every session. We are so proud of the little boy he is becoming, his personality shines through in everything he does and his smile can light up most rooms.
We want to give Ted every possible chance to reach his full potential. To do that, he needs consistent access to therapies that go far beyond what is available through current NHS services. These include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, feeding and speech therapy, intensive therapy blocks, and equipment designed to support his development. All of these are vital in helping Ted build strength, improve motor skills, and develop the foundations he needs for the future.
Unfortunately, these therapies are extremely costly, and the level of support Ted needs simply isn’t accessible without fundraising. We are turning to Just4Children to help us give Ted the opportunities he deserves and to live the fullest life possible.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings Ted closer to the support he needs. Your help means more therapy sessions, more progress, and more moments where Ted can show the world just how incredible he truly is.
Thank you for supporting our wonderful boy and for being part of his journey. Together, we can give Ted his very best chance.
