Piper’s Pathway

Just4Children want to help fund vital treatment specialist equipment for Piper to build her strength, improve mobility, and gain independence so this little queen can thrive every single day.

Hello, and thank you for visiting our fundraising page where Just4Children are raising money for life changing therapies, specialist aids and sensory equipment that Piper child urgently needs.

This is Piper, an utterly unique little girl. The only person in the world born with her genetic chromosome abnormality. So rare, the syndrome has no name and the prognosis is unknown. A large percentage of nerve pathways in Piper’s brain are affected, leading to severe complexities with cognition, speech, muscle tone and coordination. Piper has severe special needs and physical disabilities due to a muscle condition.

No parent ever wants to be given the heartbreaking news, ‘your child will never walk, speak, or live an independent life.’ That’s what we heard. However, I can honestly say the best thing we ever did was refused to accept that news! Instead, we continue to battle hard to reshape our daughter’s future…

As a family we will continue to live between home and hospitals her whole life and sadly as she grows so does her medical team, as does the number of procedures she is still yet to have. The importance of having the correct rehabilitation and support available is key

So far, Piper’s therapy journey has led to places we could only have dream of. Working with world renowned physio, occupational, speech and language therapists Piper has successfully learnt to walk, talk, eat and slowly but surly began meet her milestones.

To continue getting stronger and defying the odds Piper needs regular exposure to further neurological rehabilitation, HBOT treatment, specialist positional aids to keep her body safe and access to sensory equipment. All these things together are a wonderful recipe for successes!

As a family we will continue to push forwards Piper’s Pathway and share her story with as many of you as possible.

Please join us on this journey and support in any way to can.

Thank you, Team Piper X
