Just4CHildren are raising funds for Nico to help towards his therapies and specialist equipment which he needs to assist him to walk independently and have the best possible chances in life.
This is our star Nico who is now almost 5. He is from Kilkeel in Northern Ireland.
Nico was diagnosed with a genetic condition when he was 3 named TUBA1A which is a very rare neurodevelopmental disorder. In Nico’s case this has unfortunately caused global developmental delay, low muscle tone, while he suffers with balancing, muscle control, communication and speech.
Nico loves to watch other kids run, jump and play. Nico requires intensive physio speech and OT. Having this ongoing intense therapy will help give Nico a better chance to be able to join in, walk on his own, move on his own and learn new things. Nico has also amazingly been offered to attend the Napa centre in London only next month to receive 3 weeks of intense therapy.
