Just4children are fundraising to provide Nicole with a robotic walker to enable her to lead as normal a life as possible.
Nicole is a bright, spirited 8-year-old girl who faces challenges most of us can only imagine. She has possibly a very rare form of muscular dystrophy, a condition that gradually takes away her physical abilities. For a while, there was hope her condition might remain stable, but recent developments show her dystrophy is progressing, and time may be more limited than we had hoped.
However, a robotic walker made in Canada would enable Nicole to walk forever. The Trexo gives children with mobility challenges the opportunity to get much needed exercise and movement, to support their overall health and wellness.
