Just4Children are hoping to raise funds for Margo’s future therapies and specialist equipment so that she can lead as full a life as possible.
Margo is 4 years old from Burnley.
Margo was full term at birth. She was ventilated and put on a cooling mat after losing oxygen for 18 minutes but the damage was already done. She suffered full brain damage. She also had a cardiac arrest whilst in NICU when she was only 5 days old.
Margo now has cerebral palsy in all 4 limbs, and suffers with dystonia,, epilepsy, is registered blind and has an unsafe swallow so everything is given to her via a peg. I feel like since the moment she was born we have had to fight for everything for her and it’s a real struggle every single day.
There are so many things out there which could make an impact on her life but we just don’t have the funds to get them. Equipment for disabled children is very costly. We are looking into stem cell therapy which may be hugely beneficial to Margot. Everyday life is a struggle for us all and if anyone has anything spare to help please donate.
