Just4Children are raising funds for Ellis to have therapy, treatment and specialist equipment to lead as full a life as possible.
Ellis is an 8-year-old boy who was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC) and cortical dysplasia on his brain. These conditions result in limited mobility in all four limbs, but despite these challenges, Ellis remains a happy and resilient soul, never letting anything bring him down. This campaign aims to raise awareness of AMC and will use the funds to support Ellis with essential treatment, therapy and specialist equipment.
Ellis is full of life, with a spirit that shines brighter than any challenge he faces. Despite being born with multiple conditions, including Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC) and cortical dysplasia, Ellis has never let these hurdles define him. He loves going to school, playing with his friends, and cherishing time with his mum, dad, and two sisters. His positive outlook on life is truly inspiring, especially considering that Ellis is unable to walk.
In the past, we were raising funds for a surgery abroad that we believed would help Ellis, but after much research and hope, we have found a specialist in Sheffield who now treats him. This has been a huge step forward for Ellis, but he will always require additional support. Ellis will need extra funds for essential equipment, medical aids, physiotherapy, and therapy sessions throughout his childhood.
This campaign was started not only to help Ellis receive the care and treatment he truly deserves but also to raise awareness about his conditions and help others understand what it’s like to live with AMC and cortical dysplasia. Along this journey, we’ve met some incredible people who have supported us, and their kindness continues to inspire us every day.
With your help, we can ensure that Ellis continues to receive the care he needs and that others become more informed and compassionate towards children with similar challenges. Thank you for being part of Ellis’s journey, and for supporting him as he continues to thrive, grow, and inspire us all.
