Just4Children are raising funds to provide Jack with much needed therapy that could help him learn to walk.
Jack has cerebral palsy due to brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen before birth. We have been given the opportunity for him to attend the NAPA Center in London — a therapy programme that could help him learn to walk. The cost of therapy and accommodation is more than we can manage alone, so we are asking for help. Any donation or share would mean the world to us and could change Jack’s future.
My name is Grace, and I am fundraising for Just4Children to help my beautiful little boy, Jack.During my pregnancy, my placenta ruptured, which caused Jack to be deprived of oxygen. This resulted in brain damage and led to a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. From the very moment he entered this world, Jack has had to fight in ways no child ever should.
Every day, I watch my little boy try so hard. Things other children do without thinking — standing, walking, running — are mountains Jack has to climb. And yet, he never gives up. He tries again and again with determination, courage, and the purest smile that breaks my heart and fills it at the same time.
As his mum, it is devastating to watch your child struggle and feel powerless to fix it. All I want is to give Jack the same chances as every other child — to move freely, to gain independence, and to experience life without as many limitations.
We have been given the opportunity for Jack to attend the NAPA Center in London, an intensive, life-changing therapy programme that helps children with neurological conditions learn skills such as standing and walking. This therapy could truly change Jack’s future — but it comes at a cost we simply cannot meet on our own. We hope to go several times.
The costs involved are:
• NAPA Center therapy: £6,000–£7,000
• Accommodation for a 3-week stay in London: £2,000–£3,000
Knowing that something that could help your child so profoundly is out of reach financially is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. But I will never stop fighting for Jack. I will do everything I can to give him the best possible chance at life.
This journey is emotional, exhausting, and overwhelming — but Jack is worth every single fight. With your support, we can give him this opportunity. We can give him hope.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Jack one step closer to the chance to walk and live a more independent life. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Jack’s story, it truly makes a difference Thank you from the bottom of my heart
