Just4Children are fundraising to help Benjamin to access the therapy and equipment he needs to help him live a life without limits.
Benjamin has the most infectious smile. However, behind his smile is a little boy who is facing life-long challenges.
Born prematurely in 2015, Benjamin has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and he is registered Blind. All of these conditions together mean that Benjamin is unable to sit unaided, crawl, stand or walk.
In 2017 we started our fundraising journey and as a direct result of all of the support Just4Children received, we have been able to provide Benjamin with the therapy and equipment he needs to support his progress and development. Benjamin was able to have the life-changing SDR operation in 2021 which he was not eligible for on the NHS.
BUT! Cerebral Palsy is an ever-changing and lifelong condition and we now know that he will need specialist equipment and therapy for the rest of his life. Benjamin needs access to specialist seating and standing frames, sensory equipment, adaptations to our home and garden as well as a wheelchair accessible car and therapy programmes.
Therefore, we need to continue our fundraising journey and would love your support. We were told that Benjamin may never talk, however he is now a little chatterbox talking in sentences and has the most beautiful personality. This is proof that with the correct support and therapy that miracles can happen and with your support we will always strive to do everything we can to ensure that Benjamin can live a life without limits, the life he deserves.
