NICE – Centre for Movement Disorders
NICE is a leading UK charity (reg no 295873) that works to transform the lives of children and adults with incurable neurological movement disorders, such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and people who have experienced a Stroke.
Through the innovative educational strategy known as Conductive Education, they help people develop their everyday movement and life skills, giving them greater independence and increasing their quality of life, as well as helping to highlight that having a disability is not a barrier to attaining achievement and success. Based in Birmingham and with outreach services in Cheltenham and Coventry, they support over 600 people from across the UK.
