Three brothers to run for Twins

Three brothers to take part in endurance run to help three-year-old twins walk

Three brothers are to undertake an endurance run in a bid to help raise £100,000 to get three-year-old twin boys walking.

William and Arthur Warner, from Rothley were born at just under 29 weeks, on September 10, 2012. By the time they reached their first birthday, they were still unable to sit up, crawl or pull themselves up to stand.

The twins were diagnosed with spastic diplegia – a form of cerebral palsy. The operation, which involves cutting damaged nerves to release the inflexible muscles, is not available on the NHS.

The family need to raise £100,000 for the operation at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and subsequent physiotherapy.
