Just4Children are raising funds so Jack can have Selective Dorsal Rhitzotomy, a pioneering back surgery for children with Cerebral Palsy to give Jack the best chance to lead his life as fully as possible.
Jack is aged 9 and lives in Liverpool. He was born at 26 weeks gestation and as a result he suffers with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Jack has been offered by his professionals Selective Dorsal Rhitzotomy, a spinal operation to dramatically improve his quality of life.
Jack, dreams of becoming a policeman, a doctor, a director of his own company, a professional minecrafter and a spy ninja…..once he has retired as a power ranger!
Our Jack the lad is in daily pain and suffers in ways we just can’t begin to understand. He struggles to sleep, relax and enjoy his life as normally as he so desperately wants to.
With this operation, his quality of life will improve dramatically. He will sleep, be pain free, improve the ease of his daily cares, improve functioning mobility, improve his mental health and among a lot of other things, help to aid his future independence.
From a very early age, Jack, has had to dramatically fight his way through life which has made him the amazing little boy his is today. We are so desperate to give Jack the life that he deserves and for him to be able to grow up and achieve the goals that he is so willing to fight for.
The operation will be life changing for Jack.
