Young girl with cerebral palsy wants to run – and fundraising campaign may make her wish come true
Two-year-old Eliana Farragher, from Staplehurst in Kent, was born prematurely, suffering brain damage that caused serious visual impairment and diplegic cerebral palsy.
As a result, she now has limited mobility: the cerebral palsy causes excessive stiffness in her leg muscles, along with pain, joint contractures and bones deformities.
Eliana would love to be able to run, but her condition makes this impossible.
However, she family is hoping to raise funds for an operation that could significantly improve Eliana’s quality of life.
