Double boost for little Angell who just wants to walk

A fundraising drive to help a four-year-old Newton Abbot to find his feet for the first time has received a major double boost. Little Elliott Angell needs life-changing surgery to allow him to walk and play football with his friends at Canada Hill Primary School.

His family set up a fundraising page to help raise the £75,000 they need for surgery, therapy, rehabilitation and equipment.

Today they revealed the doctors have confirmed that Elliott is a ‘good candidate’ for the crucial surgery which could change his life.And a national charity has promised to put £20,000 into the fund to pay for the operation.

Dad Dean said: “It is the best news. I must confess I had a little cry earlier.”
