Chorley family triathlon for cerebral palsy toddlers

A nine-year-old girl and her parents are joining forces to raise funds and help out a pair toddlers with brain damage.

Ellie Burns and her parents Nick and Claire Burns, from Chorley, are each completing a leg of their ‘family triathlon’ to fundraise for three-year-old twins, William and Arthur Warner, with cerebral palsy.

The Burns family will complete a sponsored exercise to help the twins, who belong to family friends, Simon and Gaynor Warner, to pay for an operation to allow them to walk before they start school.

Dad Nick, 46, said: “I have never felt more motivated as the thought of helping improve the life of two such innocent and humble happy children just drives us all on.”
