A Cornish Schoolgirl Fights To Help Her Friend Walk
A five year old girl from Cornwall has made a heartfelt appeal to help one of her class mates walk for the first time.
Pirate FM told you Izzy Pearce from St Columb Major has cerebral palsy.
It means her legs are in constant pain and she cannot even stand, let alone walk.
It happened after she and twin sister Gabby were born 12 weeks premature but Izzy’s condition is much worse.
The girls’ family need £80 thousand to pay for a life-changing operation for Izzy.
So far they have raised more than £33 thousand and that’s where five year old Molly Moore comes in…
On Molly’s campaign page, mum Becca posted: “Molly has just turned 5. Her school have been raising money for a local family, whose daughter, Izzy, needs an operation to help her walk, and more importantly, dance with her twin sister, Gabby.
“The twins go to Molly’s school, and although not in her class, Molly has really taken the cause to heart. She is passionate about raising as much money as possible towards the £80,000 total needed, and is busy thinking up different ideas!”
