Leilani is aged 2 from Rochester in Kent. She was born with an extremely rare heart and lung condition and Just4Children are fundraising for her surgery costs at Great Portland Hospital and her post op rehab and physio.
Hi everyone, We are Louise and Leon, Mummy and Daddy to an amazing brave little girl…. Leilani.
Leilani has a rare heart and lung condition. Unfortunately we have to raise funds for Just4Children to cover the costs of her heart surgery. She will also need some of her right lung removed.
She is constantly in and out of hospital. There are feeding tubes, tests and countless needles. So many things have been thrown at this little girl in her 2 year of life and the people that know and have supported Leilani know what a happy little girl she is and how well she copes with everything.
But, there is so much behind the scenes people do not see. There are the 2 hourly feeds 24 hrs a day, the tears, the stopping breathing, the doctors, nurses and appointments, the rushing to the hospital in the middle of the night, the sadness in our baby girl’s eyes when we pull into another hospital car park or get on a train into London for appointments.
We know times are extremely hard at the moment but a huge thank you to anyone that can donate anything to help us reach our target. Thank you to everyone that has followed Leilani’s journey to this point. We really appreciate all your support and donations.
She is such a little fighter and we are very proud parents. We hope she can lead as normal life as possible.
