Just4Children are fundraising to help cover the cost of therapies and specialist equipment, which will enable Eloise to live her best life.

Eloise is aged 6 from Barnet. It takes a lot to keep up with her. Ever since her early arrival at 27 weeks, she has kept us all on our toes. Now six years old, she is full of life and not prepared to compromise.

Her tenacity and desire to make herself heard are remarkable, especially when considering her challenging start in life. Due to her premature birth, Eloise was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 14 months old. Later on, she was diagnosed with cerebral vision impairment and epilepsy. It is a lot for a little girl to deal with, but she doe not let it stop her. When she can not do something, she finds her own way. She is not shy to ask for attention, her favourite story or an extra helping of chocolate pudding. Thanks to her brilliant teachers and therapy team, she is recently started using a walker, much to her delight – and ours!

Eloise started attending physiotherapy not long after she was discharged from NICU. Over the years we found what types of therapy suit her, and with regular input from her team, she has started making progress. She is now much more open to new experiences, trying to communicate with new people, and enjoying outdoor pursuits. Regular therapies help her build strength and keep her joints and muscles healthy and pain-free – quadriplegic cerebral palsy requires proper management.

With every new life experience, she gets hungry for more. And with the help of this campaign, we will give her that. We would love to get Eloise a walker for home as she can only access this at school, a trike to take with us on our outdoor explorations and a communication device to make meeting new people and introducing herself easier. And, of course, to give her access to some of the best physiotherapists who help her live well and progress.

We appreciate your generosity and assure you every donation will be invested in the best interest of Eloise.
