Millie is aged 9 from Stoke on Trent. She has cerebral palsy and needs SDR aftercare and intense physiotherapy to improve the quality of her life.
Millie was born 12 weeks early weighing just over a bag of sugar. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at six weeks old. Her four limbs were affected, particularly her legs resulting in her not being able to walk, sit, nor stand independently.
Back in 2018 thanks to everyone’s fantastic support Millie underwent SDR surgery at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. This was life changing surgery for Millie and has helped her enormously – but now Millie needs further intense physiotherapy and specialist equipment to make further progress.
All through Millie’s short life she has shown such sheer determination and love and is now a very fiesty, intelligent and funny 10 year old.
Millie craves for a pain free independent life. £15,000 is needed for this post operative intense physiotherapy.
Millie never stops to amaze us with her positive smiley outlook. Please, no matter how little you can spare support this little girl’s rehabilitataion.
