Please support Just4Children to help Felicity move again after becoming paralysed after catching a cold virus. Felicity is aged 5 from Newport in Gwent.
The run up to Christmas 2015 was an exciting one. We had a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter who were excited for the usual Christmas fun!
On 7th December I watched my children talking about what Santa would bring them while they decorated the tree when I noticed Fliss was standing on one leg. I asked her, “why”, and she said, “it hurts”, so we called it a night.
They were both fast asleep within 10 minutes. 4 hours later we were woken to a big bang and a scream. I darted into Fliss’s room. She was on the floor. She was calling for me but she couldn’t see me. Her right side of her face had dropped. She became worse. I scooped her up and rushed to the hospital. 3 days later she was on life support in a coma.
On Christmas Eve she had her tracheostomy. Fliss opened her eyes for a few minutes on Christmas Day. She was paralysed.
We need your support to raise money for Just4Children to help our daughter receive the physiotherapy and treatment she needs to move again. She has done amazing so far. Please help her stand up again.
