"Help me raise some cash for Rosie. I WILL BE WALKING 22 miles. Please donate. Thanks"
£15.75 from Robin Turrell

Rosie-May is aged 3 from Weston Super Mare and has cerebral palsy. Please support Just4Children to help Rosie to walk and to be pain free.

I am trying to raise money for Just4Children to enable my daughter to have SDR surgery over in America at St Louis Children’s Hospital with Dr Park. This operation is currently not funded on the NHS.

Rosie-May was born at 28 weeks weighing 2lb. She also was delivered as a breach birth. No one expected her to come so early as the pregnancy was going well.

Rosie was healthy up until I suddenly started having pains so I underwent an emergency appointment at the doctors and was sent immediately to the hospital and within an hour Rosie-May was born.

When Rosie-May was delivered the medical staff rushed her straight off after being placed in an incubator. Rosie-May then stayed in the ICU for 2 months until she was finally allowed home.

In her time in the ICU Rosie-May received an ultrasound of her brain. This is where the doctors found that Rosie-May had holes in her brain. She also had a small bleed and cysts.

Doctors then took me to a small quiet room and explained to me that Rosie-May has cerebral palsy. They told me she would be blind and she wouldn’t be able to communicate.

Rosie-May deserves a better quality of life.

Thank you
