Ralphie has spastic quadriparesis cerebral palsy. Ralphie needs funds to purchase much needed specialist equipment to help him have a more comfortable and normal life.
Ralphie is nearly 3 from Weymouth in Dorset. He was born 9 weeks early. After many complications, including bleeds on his brain, a clot on his brain, a collapsed lung requiring a chest drain, and jaundice to name a few, he pulled through. But this left him with substantial brain damage.
This has resulted in a form of cerebral palsy called spastic quadriparesis. This means Ralphie’s entire body is affected.
He suffers with a lot of pain for which he has medication. He is currently PEG fed.
Ralph is a happy little boy who loves nothing more than to play with his brothers. We are working very hard with physiotherapists and numerous other professionals to help Ralphie achieve his full potential.
Unfortunately, the specialist equipment Ralphie needs is very costly – and where he is growing quickly the equipment is constantly changing. We would like to work towards buying Ralphie a specialist cot, as he has very much outgrown his normal one. Amongst other equipment for Ralphie, this is our main target.
Thank you for your support.
