For a little boy called Luka, to help him through physiotherapy and to buy therapy equipment to reach his full potential and one day walk.

Luka is a 5 year old boy from Bristol. He was born with a rare brain condition. He suffered a stroke in mummy’s tummy at 26 weeks which killed off half his brain and in its place is a huge cyst.

His parents were told it was so bad that he would probably never walk, or talk. He also suffers with Quadraplegic Cerebral Palsy which affects both his arms and legs.

5 years down the line Luka now talks while he has just started to sit independently, and uses a frame to take small steps. He doesn’t have enough core strength at the moment for him to take many steps but this is the main aim at the moment during the weekly physiotherapy sessions that he attends.

Luka suffers a lot of chest infections due to digestion problems from the position he’s in. The physiotherapy and therapy equipment will help to improve this by building his strength to use his legs and be in an upright position.

Luka works hard on a daily basis and lives life with a smile lighting the hearts of everyone he meets. Please show your support to Just4Children.
