Help Just4Children raise money for an adapted fitness facility and part-fund fitness classes for kids and young adults with all levels of disability. A local centre offering advice, support and fitness classes.

Fitnessboxing’s concept set up by Rachael Hutchinson, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Jon Thaxton, Retired Professional Boxer and Personal Trainer is to show that ANY young person, whatever their level of ability or disability can improve their strength and aerobic fitness.

Young people with disability need to be fitter and stronger than their peers to function day to day. The opportunities open to them are very limited. Using adapted boxercise and circuit training, confidence can be gained, patterned movements learned and fitness improved, with added benefits of improved concentration, confidence and self belief.

Combining the medical knowledge alongside an inspirational personal trainer is leading to great results whilst having fun.

Our current facility is limited and not sustainable. A centre to offer core activities adaptable for all disabilities and a hub for fitness info is our aim. We also wish to offer part-funded classes for certain medical conditions where class sizes need to be kept small.
