Brooke Lilly Hacker

Brooke Lilly is a 5 year old little girl from Swansea who suffers with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Brooke was diagnosed at just 4 days old with cerebral palsy as a result of medical negligence and was starved of oxygen at birth. Many times in the first month of her life we thought each visit would be our last with our baby girl but she proved doctors wrong every time and came out fighting.

Since then Brooke has developed epilepsy as well and again we have nearly lost our little girl on a number of occasions. Through a family friend we leant about Footsteps in Oxford which is an intensive physiotherapy centre to help Brooke walk. Their work is fantastic and results are outstanding, so we would like to raise as much money as possible for Just4Children to keep sending Brooke there so she can have the independence she deserves.

We would also like Brooke to have an epilepsy alarm so we can sleep at night knowing our little girl is safe in her bed as well.

Thank you to everyone for reading our story and hopefully we will get the funds we need to send Brooke to Footsteps.

Thanks again
