1 APRIL 2023

Take on a 50 km Ultra or a historic 25km – and make it an active Easter! From our Windsor Racecourse base camp 1500 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of the Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and takes in some wonderful countryside. You’ll get full support all the way, a few post Easter surprises, a celebration finish at base camp, and a BBQ meal. It’s a great way to kick off the 2023 Ultra Challenge season, and to get in shape for summer.

29 – 30 APRIL 2023

Great challenges need great settings – and few are better than the Island’s stunning coastal path. Up to 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight in April 2023 – with all out to push themselves further. It’s along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes at the half way stop. For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way, and with half & quarter Island options also – there’s an Isle of Wight Challenge for everyone!

13 – 14 MAY 2023

Spectacular World Heritage coastline, with a new start in Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs to Weymouth at half way. For 100 km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay’s cliffs (of TV’s Broadchurch) – before a finish line celebration in the vibrant Dorset town of Bridport.

Now in its 11th year over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their grit over the whole weekend. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100 km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with half, and quarter distance options also available – there’s a classic challenge here for everyone!

10 – 11 JUNE 2023

Take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Our Challenge base-camp is in Kendal, and from there it’s a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, Garburn Pass, Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves – with some stunning views en route – before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality, optional camping / hostel, and with half & quarter distance options – there’s a Lake District Challenge for everyone!

Our Cirencester basecamp is the start of the 100 km looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, which provides a stunning setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves. Rolling hills, villages, the magical Cotswold Way, footpaths & trails, with some fabulous views en route. You’ll get full support & hospitality, including optional ‘university style’ accommodation at basecamp, and with half & quarter distance challenges also there’s a Cotswold’s Challenge for everyone.

8 – 9 JULY 2023

Our base-camp hub in idyllic Bakewell will welcome over 2,000 adventurers who will test themselves in the fabulous Peak District National Park. There’s a full range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality & welfare services across the weekend – with a full 100 km Challenge which takes a tough & varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery. You’ll get full support all the way, and with half, quarter & 10 mile distance options also which pass Chatsworth House – there’s a Peak District Challenge for everyone!

By popular demand – we’re heading back to the North Downs with a fabulous challenge setting out from our Guilford basecamp, and a looped 50km route which takes in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside. A route with real variety and some wonderful scenery & views – and easily accessible from London! You’ll get full support & hospitality, and with 25 km options also available, and University style accommodation at basecamp as a bookable extra –  there’s a North Downs Challenge waiting for you in 2023!

5 AUGUST 2023

A new ‘South West’ challenge for 2023 – taking in the first Minehead section of the stunning & famous 630 mile Coastal Path, and with an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. Then the 50 km loop heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You’ll get full support all the way to the finish, and with three 25 km options also, plus a family friendly 10K event  – along with camping options & festival style hospitality at basecamp across the weekend – there’s a South West Coast Challenge for everyone!

2 – 3 SEPTEMBER 2023

The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2000 adventurers to take on a real challenge. An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups & downs lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with half & quarter distance options available – there’s a South Coast Challenge for everyone!

9 – 10 SEPT 2023

England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line. With 50km & 25km distance options also available – plus the separate 25km ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ & ‘The Moonlight 10 Walk’ through Central London as part of the weekend ‘festival’ – there’s a Thames Challenge for everyone!
