Just4Children are fundraising for Asher to pay ongoing costs of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hydrotherapy.
Asher is aged 11 from Brighton. In 2016, aged just 4 years old, Asher underwent spinal cord surgery in the USA. Since then he has made incredible progress towards walking independently but as he grows, and the effects of the covid pandemic become clearer, we see problems developing.
Only intensive physiotherapy, and other therapies such as OT, can help develop his range of movement and future skills. We do our best to replicate this at home, but of course it takes its toll on family life, and we are not trained physiotherapists.
